Al Quran, Al Anaam 6: 11-13

Say: "Travel through the earth and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth." Say: "To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth? Say: "To God. He has inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgement, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe. To Him belongs all that dwells (or lurks) in the night and the day. For He is the One Who hears and knows all things."

"With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knows but He. He knows whatever there is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf does fall but with His knowledge; there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read).
